If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish content, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

In simple language: we retain your stored data for  as long as you are a member of the site. This is necessary because this is an interactive site, and without user data it cannot function. You can edit your primary user data. Note that membership of the site is only available to staff and agents of onoConnect.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Note that membership of the site is only available to staff and agents of onoConnect.

 

With whom do we share personal data?

In simple language: We share your personal data only under confidentiality obligations and only to provide you with content and services. We may disclose information to legal authorities.  We use some third-parties or third-party plugins.

International Transfer​

Our servers may be hosted in various countries and jurisdictions that may be outside the country from which you access the Services and may be outside your country of residence. We may transfer personal data across several countries.  Some of the uses and disclosures mentioned in this Privacy Policy may involve the transfer of your personal data to various countries around the world that may have different levels of privacy protection than your country.

Currently, our servers are hosted in the EU, and should this change this policy will be updated accordingly.

As part of providing the Services our affiliates, we may make use of third-party services. Our servers are hosted in Azure Cloud. 

We may use external communications  services to communicate with our users; each interaction may be logged in those third-party services.

We use a mail service to send all site communications to our users.

We use may Google Analytics to analyze marketing goals and to integrate different data sources together.

 

Legal Compliance​

We may share information as required for the provision or maintenance of the Services. We may also share information in accordance with a written legal request by a valid legal authority. We will do our best to object to such request if we believe that it is baseless.

Merger or Reorganization​

We may transfer data if we become involved in a reorganization, merger, consolidation, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, with any type of entity, whether public, private, foreign or local.

Children​

In simple language: We don’t knowingly collect information about children.

While this website is about payment technologies and solutions for PSPs and others, so it would be unexpected for minors to access the site. We will not knowingly contact or engage with children under the age of 16. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided us with their personal data, please contact us, and we will act in accordance with the applicable law.
